1. Dorstone - Best Fresh Cheese British Award 2011 150g - GU
Takes its name from the Herefordshire village, close to where the cheese is made. The goats’ milk cheese is coated in ash, and then ripened until it
resembles Carrera marble. Mellow and creamy. Made by Charlie Westhead.
2. Devon Blue - Best English Cheese British Award 2011 250g - CV
A superb blue cows’ milk cheese, made by Ben Harris in Totnes, Devon. Crumbly texture with a smooth, creamy finish.
3. Tunworth - Gold Medal British Cheese 2011 250g - CU
Stacey Hedges only started making cheese in 2004. Tunworth has the thinnest possible rind, an undulating surface, and a profoundly fruity
tang - enough to convince a Frenchman that this was made on his terroir.
4. Westcombe Cheddar - Gold Medal Bath & West 2011 250g - CU
A truly artisan cheddar from Somerset with a deep and complex flavour. Made by Tom Calver.
