The Fine Cheese Co. Crackers and Biscuits for Cheese
How the Crackers Came to Life
Selling cheese in our shop in Bath, we were struck by two thoughts:
- How come there are so many great cheeses, and so few great crackers to go with them?
- If celery is a natural partner for blue cheese, and walnuts for goats’ cheese, why can’t you put the celery or the walnuts in a cracker to partner cheese? And that was how the crackers were born.
They come in three styles:
- The ‘white boxes’: flavoured, crisp, and sugar-free
- The ‘vintage boxes’: flavoured, a mix of oat and wheat, and a touch of sweetness to balance the oat
- The ‘coloured boxes’: all-butter neutrals that don’t impose themselves on the cheese, because some people like their cheese naked.
