Did you know that we are two shops in one?

A cheese shop with a range of delicious gourmet treats, and a coffee shop with our own chefs. Or to put it another way: shop in the cheese shop for your Keen's Cheddar, jar of plum chutney, local farmhouse butter and Hobbs House Pugliese bread, or have them made for you into a sandwich that you may enjoy with a cappucino or a glass of wine.

Warm Ham Hock & Potato Salad £6.95
With free–range soft boiled egg, and an anchovy and caper dressing.
West Country Trencherman’s Plate £5.95
Local boiled ham cut by hand, and unpasteurised Montgomery's or Keen's Cheddar, served with a hunk of crusty bread, pickled onions and an English apple.
Somerset Rarebit £5.95
Welsh rarebit made from the best unpasteurised artisan cheese of the moment, grilled on Hobbs House Campaillou bread, and served with a green herb salad and roasted cherry tomatoes.
Home-made Smoked Salmon Fish Cakes £7.95
Served with a fresh herb salad and home-made tartare sauce.

King's Favourite

Wyfe of Bath

Wyfe of Bath is made with organic cow's milk. As a hand-made single herd cheese, its taste changes slightly according to the season but it is sweet and rich, redolent of buttercup meadows! The recipe used to make Wyfe of Bath was inspired by Gouda.
