The Moscatel grapes are laid out in the sun until they become raisins.
Fermentation is arrested early, in order to keep the natural sugar of the grapes. Dark mahogany in colour, it is soft and sweet on the palate (slightly less’ treacley’ than Pedro Ximenez ). Reminiscent of honey, citrus and spices.
Serve at 13ºC. A good match for fruit salads, créme brûlée and for orange sorbet.
