Bodrato was founded by Luca Bodrato in 1943. In 2001 brother and sister Paola and Fabio Bergaglio bought the company, and a new family business was born.
They retained Luca's commitment to quality, both in his artisan methods (every chocolate is hand-dipped as tradition dictates), and in the careful sourcing of the best ingredients, wherever possible local. To this, they added fresh ideas and genuine innovation, both in the form of the chocolates and in the more contemporary flavour combinations they created.
