A new range of infused oils from outstanding artisan French producer: La Tourangelle
Huilerie Croix Verte in Saumur is one of the few mills remaining that continues with authentic artisan production. In this mill, the time-honoured tradition of stone pressing lives on, resulting in oils of exceptional quality and finesse.
Infused oils such as this require, careful handling.
Sunflower oil is used because of its ability to carry a flavour, is the prefered base and is expeller-pressed, so that all the goodness remains.
Fresh Basil is then pressed and infused to create a delicate, oil with a fragrant aroma and natural flavour that is perfect for drizzling over Buffalo Mozzarella, tomatoes, or add to a Summer Gazpacho.
