Rosé Spumante Extra Dry

This won over everyone at our blind tasting: agreeably intense, fruity and enticingly fragrant. While by no means sweet, its mouth-watering raspberry and strawberry notes are juicy and delicious, and it finishes with a fresh, slightly citrusy burst – perfect at any time of year, for any special occasion. 

This beautiful sparkling wine is made from Raboso, which is an indigenous Venetian red grape variety renowned for its deep colour and intense fruitiness. It makes powerful reds which need long ageing but also, as Progetti-divini have shown perfectly, a delicious pale ruby sparkler redolent of freshly picked cherries and strawberries.

Grapes are crushed and the juice fermented with the grape skins for a short period in order to extract sufficient colour and flavour. The resulting light, bright, still rose undergoes secondary fermentation under the Charmat method for a minimum of 60 days, with constant temperature control between 16-18°C.
