90g – Cow, Raw Milk
A delicate, rich and complex cheese. Hand-made by Julie Cheyney in Suffolk from the milk of Montbeliarde cows, this tiny cheese is full of flavour. The thin, wrinkled coat encases a dense, lactic core, and the flavour is refined but deep and lingering.
250g - Cow, Raw Milk
Xavier collects his St. Nectaire cheeses at two or three days’ old and matures them in his cellars, where the natural mould forms and the flavour develops. The finished cheese has a creamy, supple to soft texture, and a distinctive ‘earthy’ flavour.
ST. MAURE DE TOURAINE
240g - Goat, Raw Milk
A classic from the Loire, a region knee-deep in great goats’ milk cheeses. The fresh cheese is ashed and ripened around a stick of straw, to produce a log that is both creamy and full-flavoured. To protect the provenance, the dairies have to have their farm’s name or code laser-engraved on the straw – pull it out and look!
COMTÉ ST ANTOINE
250g - Cow, Raw Milk
An unpasteurised French cheese from the Jura mountain region: smooth, mellow, nutty, and with a long finish.

The Fine Cheese Co. is a maturer, wholesaler, retailer and exporter of artisan British cheeses. We are based in historic Bath, founded by the Romans and famous for its beautiful Georgian architecture - alongside Venice the only World Heritage city in Europe.
We have been cheese specialists for twenty years, and from the start we have nurtured and supported the cream of British cheese-makers. We stock over a hundred hand-made British cheeses: from rediscovered gems such as Devon Oke, a hard but creamy cows’ milk cheese made to the original seventeenth century recipe, to Lord of the Hundreds, an unpasteurised mature sheep’s milk cheese made in the style of an Italian Pecorino.Read more about us >
