FRANCE 

Petit Rouelle Cendrée - Goat, Raw milk  150g

Fly Half – What better way to kick things off for the Six Nations 2019 selection, than with this light and delicate, kicking tee-shaped wonder. To try is to be converted, as Petit Rouelle Cendree carries satisfying citrus notes once you cut past its wrinkly, ashy rind. A solid and reliable player for Les Bleus.

ENGLAND

Sharpham Rustic - Cow, Raw Milk, 200g

Hooker – Sharpham Rustic is a true front row player. Wonderfully moist, with a pressed texture and a mellow tang, it unfortunately has a bit of a tendency to crumble under pressure. This attribute is more than made up for by how clean and lactic it is in flavour. Once this finds its way onto your cheeseboard there will be a line-out the door to secure posession.


WALES 

Golden Cenarth - Cow, Pasteurised 200g

Lock - This veteran has been part of the Welsh squad for many seasons now, and provides much of the power to this pack. Under the watchful eyes of Carwyn Adams, this smooth and supple beauty has gone on to win almost as many trophies as the national team. Golden Cenarth is washed in cider to develop its characteristic coat and unmistakable seductive pungency.



IRELAND

Coolea - Cow, Pasteurised 
200g
Full Back – Any good full back needs to stay cool under pressure, and Coolea is about as smooth as it gets, well able to cover any gap that appears in your cheeseboard’s line. Using a traditional Gouda recipe, Dicky Willems has created a sweet, almost toffee-like cheese that you’ll need a safe pair of hands to hold onto. 



SCOTLAND

STRATHDON BLUE
 - Cow, Pasteurised, Vegetarian 200g

Centre - This hardy player comes from Tain in the very Highlands of Scotland. Strathdon Blue has a smooth, velvety paste, and a full, well-balanced flavour; slightly sweet, with a mineral tang. A good centre knows how to offload quickly, but you may want to hang on to this one for a while.

Pecorino di Filiano - 
Sheep, Raw Milk

Flanker – Robust enough to hang tight with the rest of the pack, this exquisite sheep’s milk cheese from Italy has tackled a lot of competition to become one of the finest members of the Azzurri. From the mountainous
volcanic slopes of Basilicata, Pecorino Filiano is full-flavoured and robust, with a crystalline texture and
a sweet, tropical-fruit finish.
