Most bottle fruits come either in syrup/alcohol and are too sweet, or come in spiced vinegar and are too acid for cheese. We have created a sweet/sour balance which we believe complements different cheeses perfectly. Each fruit has a hint of savoury spicing and its own different vinegar base. The firm, tangy and slightly floral nature of the pears are a fabulous contrast to a soft yet powerful Brie de Meaux or Camembert. Once opened, store in the fridge for up to two weeks.

The Fine Cheese Co. is a maturer, wholesaler, retailer and exporter of artisan British cheeses. We are based in historic Bath, founded by the Romans and famous for its beautiful Georgian architecture - alongside Venice the only World Heritage city in Europe.
We have been cheese specialists for thirty years, and from the start we have nurtured and supported the cream of British cheese-makers. We stock over a hundred hand-made British cheeses: from classic gems such as Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire, a traditional cloth-bound territorial cheese, to Baron Bigod, a raw milk Brie-style cheese.
