This won over everyone at our blind tasting.While by no means sweet, its mouth-watering raspberry and strawberry notes are juicy and delicious and it nishes with a fresh, slightly citrusy burst – perfect at any time of year and would be delicious with the festive turkey!
Grapes: Raboso.This is an indigenous Venetian red grape variety renowned for its deep colour and intense fruitiness. It makes powerful reds which need long ageing but also, as Progetti- divini have shown perfectly, a delicious pale ruby sparkler redolent of freshly picked cherries and strawberries.
Winemaking: Grapes are crushed and juice fermented on skins for a short period to extract suf cient colour and avour. Fermented to approx 10% vol.The resulting light, bright, still rose undergoes secondary fermentation with Charmat method for minimum of 60 days with constant temperature control between 16-18 °C.
Tasting Note: Brilliant deep pink with ruby glints. Aromas of red berries, in particular strawberry and raspberry. Agreeably intense, fruity and enticingly fragrant.The harmony created by the brilliant colour plus the aroma of red berries makes it highly quaffable and dangerously easy to drink.
Alcohol Content: 11% vol.
Residual Sugar: 16 gr/l.
