Each week our specialists travel across Britain and Europe to meet cheesemakers and affineurs, to go over what we are looking for, and to taste and agree what we are selecting.

We have our own maturing rooms, and some 15 people iron, rub and turn the cheeses in our care.

And our specialists choose when each cheese is at its peak perfection for you, our customers.

And they and our technical team are at the ready to provide you with advice, guidance and training.

Each Fine Cheese Co. baked product is single-mindedly cheese-focused.

All are designed, developed and approved by our cheese specialists.

Those that are flavoured complement specific cheeses without overwhelming them  – and the pairings make sense.

Those that are deliberately neutral in flavour do not impinge on what they carry but have exquisite textures.

There is a wealth of variety, both retail and catering, but only one level of quality: the best.

Charcuterie, Salumi and Smoked Salmon

Our specialists and technical team select and look after meat and fish with unsurpassed care.

As with cheese, we build direct relationships with the producers here and abroad; and we see for ourselves the animals and how they live, watch how the meat is prepared, and verify what ingredients are added (for we have a list of what is acceptable and is not).

Why? Because ‘we are what we eat’ is never more true than here.

At Artisan Biscuits, our 100 year-old family bakery, we also bake crackers, biscuits and cookies under the bakery’s brand names: Miller’s and The Fine Cookie Co.

All are made with skill and care: the best ingredients used generously, the dough formed in the old-fashioned way, and then hand-baked in traditional rack ovens.

And only The Fine Cheese Co. has the full range of products that we produce.
