REX beer was developed by cheese affineur Frederic Van Tricht and Brewery Anders, and we picked Drunk Monk, a cheese washed by Frederic in this very ale, and Stichelton , whose malty sweetness and depth of character bring harmony to the threesome. Gift wrap available.

A modern reinvention of a Belgian classic, REX was developed by Frederic Van Tricht and Brouwerij Anders to pair perfectly with cheese. Floral and bitter Cascade hops balance out typical Belgian sweetness for a refreshing and clean flavour profile. Please note, the BBD on this product is 9th July 2026

A handpicked selection of nine pralines: milk chocolate with orange cream; white chocolate with pistachio praline; milk chocolate studded with crispy rice; dark chocolate with zabaglione liqueur ganache; classic gianduja; dark chocolate with salted pistachio praline; hazelnut praline with crisp wafer; milk chocolate with coffee ganache; and white chocolate with raspberry yoghurt filling.

A thin and wrinkled rind, an earthy fragrance, and a vegetal flavour. Described by Raymond Blanc as “the best Camembert in the world”, but the quality of the cheese will convince any Frenchman that it was made on his terroir.

Full-flavoured, with a hint of sweetness. A sweet and tangy Cheddar cheese with a particularly creamy texture and an occasional crystal caused by long maturing.

Rich and velvety smooth. Sweet, with mineral tones and winey spice. Made under the watchful eye of Billy Kevan, only the fourth Head Cheesemaker of the dairy since 1920, and a watchword for consistency. Colston Bassett Stilton is the only remaining exclusively hand-ladled Stilton.

Sweet and fruity.
All-butter Bath Oliver-style crackers. Crisp, unsweetened and made with the finest British butter, they are sublime carriers for cheese.

Thin, light and crisp toast (baked twice like biscotti) and uniquely studded with fruits, nuts and seeds.
A beautiful selection box containing three of our popular Toast for Cheese flavours: Cherries, Almonds & Linseeds, Apricots, Pistachios & Sesame Seeds and Dates, Hazelnuts & Pumpkin Seeds.
Full-flavoured, a hint of sweetness, and a subtle smokiness. A mature, West Country Farmhouse Cheddar, with a delicately smoky flavour and tangy bite. Cold-smoked over real oak chips to give a natural flavour with no harsh notes.

Earthy but moist, and slightly sweet. Cloth-wrapped, hand-made Dorset Cheddar, cave-aged in Somerset for a depth of flavour and a moist texture. It is fruity and tangy with a rich, deep flavour and a hint of sweetness.
Sweet and intense.

Thin, light and crisp toast (baked twice like biscotti) and uniquely studded with fruits, nuts and seeds.
A crunchy cracker for any goats’ milk cheese.
Rich, ice cream texture. Buttery, with crème fraiche notes maturing to meaty ‘mushroom’. The Lincet family have been making cheese in Burgundy for the past 125 years, and this utterly decadent triple cream is a speciality. The smaller cheeses have a marvellously thin geotrichum rind, while the larger cheeses pick up the spicier flavours of a downy white penicillium coat.

Dark, sticky and rich. Serve with hard cheeses such as Comté, Cheddar and Cantal.

Membrillo is a firm and fruity quince paste. Perfect with sheep’s milk cheeses such as Manchego, Pecorino and Berkswell.

35 years ago, we opened a store in Bath. Now you will see us in over 1,100 high-end food stores, hotels and restaurants throughout Britain: from London department stores and 5* hotels to your nearby cheese shop or deli; and on airlines and in over 50 countries world-wide. (But never in a UK supermarket.) We remain family-owned and fiercely independent, and fixated on food of the highest quality.
What makes us different
We personally select the cheese with the cheesemakers.Our cheese specialists travel across Britain and Europe to meet the cheesemakers and affineurs (ripeners).
We talk about what we are looking for in appearance, condition, age and flavour profile. We taste together and agree which we are selecting at a young age and which we are asking to be kept and for how long.
Some 15 people iron, rub and turn the cheese in our care.
Our specialists then choose when each cheese is at its peak perfection for you, our customers.
Our specialists and technical team are always on hand to provide you with advice and guidance.
We are judges at the World Cheese Awards and sponsor The World’s Best Artisan Cheese.
