When our founder, Ann-Marie Dyas opened our Bath shop over 30 years ago, she was struck by two thoughts:
‘Why are my cheeses so interesting and why are the crackers so dull?’
‘I am a cheese purist. I do not want flavours in my cheese. So why not put flavours into the crackers?'
She then created our range of flavoured crackers where the flavours complement specific cheeses but do not overwhelm them. It was a new idea at the time, and nobody has managed to copy it. Even now. Anywhere in the world.
The Only Crackers Baked By A Cheese Company
The Fine Cheese Co. has its own bakery and has created several ranges of carriers for cheese that you can now buy in over 60 countries. All are made with skill and care.
We use only the best ingredients; we form the dough in the old-fashioned way; and we bake by hand in traditional rack ovens.
That spirit of innovation hasn't stopped. We've just launched a new range - our Sourdough Crackers - made with the same exacting standards that started all of this.
