For decades now, we have hoped to discover the grissini of our dreams. Crunchy but light and flaky. At this pasticceria (pastry-maker), we finally found it. Artisans for some 50 years, here they make grissini by hand, only with natural ingredients (no chemical aromas or preservatives) and long leavening; and they put a wooden clip on the top of each bag to help retain freshness. They call their grissini ‘Bacoli’ (kisses). You will learn why; and now we have kissed our quest goodbye.
